We are passionate about our food at Dunalastair. But we also believe and know that food alone is not the only reason why people enjoy a memorable dining experience so it's important to us that everything is done right and to the best of our ability. We must be doing something right as we continue to welcome return customers and enjoy the opportunity to renew 'auld acquaintances'.
We believe in our classic Scottish culinary product - twists and novelties too often distract from the final dish so we avoid them. And our restaurant is all about making people welcome, comfortable and feeling at ease.

Throughout our menus you can choose traditional favourites - we tend to take the finest local ingredients from the Scottish highland larder, available in abundance here - and carefully prepare and mould them to produce exciting dishes whilst doing as little as possible to change their local character and flavours. Highland specialities naturally abound, and our cuisine places due emphasis on local game - its quality and depth of flavour are allowed to shine through dishes of generous size yet subtle creativity.
